  • 10-Year Platform Bed Warranty Promise

    We design our products to be serviceable — meaning that as a system of parts, we can easily change out a defective part rather than having to replace the entire product.

    As part of our mission of making furniture built to last, Floyd, Inc. (“Floyd”) warrants to the original retail purchaser that our Platform Bed Frame, including the Headboard and Underbed Storage, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase (the “Floyd Platform Bed Warranty”). The Floyd Platform Bed Warranty is a commitment to our customers, an expression of our confidence in the quality of our products, and a statement that we stand behind that quality.

    The Floyd Platform Bed Warranty is offered solely to the original retail purchaser, and is not transferable to subsequent purchasers. Floyd’s sole obligation under the Floyd Platform Bed Warranty is to, at our option, repair or replace the defective part(s) at no additional charge, if we determine in our sole discretion that the defect is covered by the Floyd Platform Bed Warranty. Floyd must be notified in writing of any claim under the Floyd Platform Bed Warranty.

    NOTE: The Floyd Platform Bed Warranty covers repair or replacement for defective products within the continental United States only, not returns within 30 days of purchase. Products that are returned in our 30-day return period are processed differently. Those terms and conditions can be found here.

    How to utilize the floyd platform bed warranty

    Customers must notify Floyd, Inc. in writing of any claims. Please email hello@floydhome.com with the following information so that we can best assist you:

    • ORDER NUMBER
    • FIRST & LAST NAME
    • EXPLANATION OF DAMAGE/DEFECT
    • PHOTOS OF DAMAGE/DEFECT

    Upon receiving notification of a claim, a Floyd representative will follow up with you within 1 business daywith next steps. Please note that if we originally shipped to an international address or an address in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, we will be unable to cover the cost of any return shipping that may apply.

    All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Floyd. We reserve the right to determine whether or not damages are covered by the Floyd Platform Bed Warranty, in our sole discretion. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE FLOYD PLATFORM BED WARRANTY The Floyd Platform Bed Warranty covers and is valid only for flaws and defects in the manufacturing of the product, or defects that develop through normal use. The Floyd Platform Bed Warranty applies only to the Floyd Platform Bed Frame and the Underbed Storage. The Floyd Platform Bed Warranty does not cover or apply to other Floyd products beyond the Floyd Platform Bed Frame or any purchases made outside of floydhome.com, with the exception of those purchased on westelm.com on or after June 4, 2019. The Floyd Platform Bed Warranty may not apply, or may apply differently, to purchases made through third-party sites.

    To be eligible for the Floyd Platform Bed Warranty:

    • YOU MUST BE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND HAVE A VALID PROOF OF PURCHASE.
    • YOU MUST HAVE PURCHASED THE PRODUCT DIRECTLY FROM FLOYDHOME.COM, OR FROM WEST ELM ON OR AFTER JUNE 4, 2019.
    • WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR WRITTEN WARRANTY REQUEST WITHIN 10 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
    • THE PRODUCT MUST HAVE BEEN INSTALLED AND USED ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCT OR ON OUR WEBSITE (INCLUDING THOSE RECOMMENDATIONS AND GUIDELINES SPECIFIED ON THE FAQ PAGE).
    • THE PRODUCT MUST HAVE BEEN USED ONLY UNDER TYPICAL CONDITIONS AND MUST NEVER HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO ABUSE, ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, OR OTHER ABNORMAL USAGE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CUTS, TEARS, BURNS, STAINS, SOILING, LIQUID DAMAGE, OR IMPROPER INSTALLATION.

    Floyd does not warrant against:

    • CHANGES IN SURFACE FINISHES DUE TO AGING OR EXPOSURE TO LIGHT.
    • NATURAL VARIATIONS OF WOOD GRAIN OR FIGURE OR THE PRESENCE OF CHARACTER MARKS.
    • NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.
    • DAMAGE FROM SHARP OBJECTS OR IMPRINTING FROM WRITING INSTRUMENTS, OR PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO MOISTURE OR DIRECT SUNLIGHT.
    • MOLD OR INVASIVE SPECIES, SUCH AS BED BUGS, TERMITES, ETC.
    • THE UNDERBED STORAGE CANVAS BASKET.
    • FAILURE RESULTING FROM ANY ACTIONS OR USES PERFORMED OUTSIDE OF THOSE RECOMMENDED OR SPECIFIED ON OUR SITE, INCLUDING OUR FAQ.

    The repaired or replacement item shall continue to be covered under the original warranty for the rest of the original term, but under no circumstances will the Floyd Platform Bed Warranty be extended beyond 10 years from the date of purchase of the original product. The remedies provided in the Floyd Platform Bed Warranty constitute the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedies, and Floyd’s sole and exclusive obligation, with respect to defects in the purchased products or the manufacturing thereof. Floyd expressly disclaims, and the purchaser expressly waives, all other representations and warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

    As part of our mission of making furniture built to last, Floyd, Inc. (“Floyd”) warrants to the original retail purchaser that our Table System, inclusive of the table, round table, coffee table, side table, and desk (the “Floyd Table,”the “Floyd Round Table,” the “Floyd Coffee Table,” the “Floyd Side Table,” and the “Floyd Desk") will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase (the “Floyd Table System Warranty”). This Floyd Table System Limited Warranty is a commitment to our customers, an expression of our confidence in the quality of our products, and a statement that we stand behind that quality.

    NOTE: The Floyd Table System Limited Warranty covers repair or replacement for defective Tables, Round Tables, Coffee Tables, Side Tables, and Desks as set forth herein within the continental United States only, and does not cover regular, non-defective returns of the Table, Round Table, Coffee Table, Side Table, Desk, or other products. Tables, Round Tables, Coffee Tables Side Tables, Desks, and other products that are returned in our 630-day return period are processed differently in accordance with the terms and conditions found here.

    HOW TO UTILIZE THE FLOYD TABLE SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY:

    Before submitting a claim, please carefully review the Terms & Conditions below. Customers must notify Floyd in writing of any claims within 10 years from the date of purchase. Please email hello@floydhome.com with the following information so that we can best assist you:

    All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Floyd. We reserve the right to determine whether or not damages are covered by the Floyd Table System Limited Warranty, in our sole discretion.

    TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE FLOYD TABLE SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY:

    1. COVERAGE

    The Floyd Table System Limited Warranty covers and is valid only for flaws and defects in the manufacturing or workmanship of the Table. The Floyd Table System Limited Warranty applies only to the Floyd Table, Round Table, Coffee Table, Side Table, and Desk, and does not cover or apply to other Floyd products or to any purchases made outside of floydhome.com or outside of the United States. The Floyd Table System Limited Warranty may not apply to purchases made through third-party sites.

    Floyd does not cover:

    • CHANGES IN SURFACE FINISHES DUE TO AGING OR EXPOSURE TO LIGHT.
    • NATURAL VARIATIONS OF WOOD GRAIN OR FIGURE OR THE PRESENCE OF CHARACTER MARKS.
    • NATURAL VARIATIONS OF POWDER COATING ON THE TABLE LEGS.
    • NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, EVERYDAY WEAR AND TEAR OF TABLE SURFACE).
    • DAMAGE FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
      • SHARP OBJECTS OR IMPRINTING FROM WRITING INSTRUMENTS;
      • PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO MOISTURE OR DIRECT SUNLIGHT;
      • MODIFICATIONS, ALTERATIONS, TAMPERING, OR IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR REPAIRS;
      • ACTS OF GOD, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FIRE, LIGHTNING, FLOOD, TORNADO, EARTHQUAKE, OR HURRICANE; OR
      • ANY ACTIONS OR USES PERFORMED OUTSIDE OF THOSE RECOMMENDED OR SPECIFIED ON OUR SITE, INCLUDING OUR FAQS.

    2. ELIGIBILITY

    To be eligible for the Floyd Table System Limited Warranty:

    • YOU MUST BE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND HAVE A VALID PROOF OF PURCHASE. THE FLOYD TABLE SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE TO SUBSEQUENT PURCHASERS.
    • YOU MUST HAVE PURCHASED THE TABLE, ROUND TABLE, COFFEE TABLE, SIDE TABLE, OR DESK DIRECTLY FROM FLOYDHOME.COM AND BE LOCATED IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, OR HAVE PURCHASED VIA WEST ELM ON OR AFTER JUNE 4, 2019.
    • WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR WRITTEN WARRANTY REQUEST AS SET FORTH ABOVE WITHIN 10 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
    • THE TABLE, ROUND TABLE, COFFEE TABLE, SIDE TABLE, OR DESK MUST HAVE BEEN INSTALLED AND USED ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED WITH THE TABLE, ROUND TABLE, COFFEE TABLE, SIDE TABLE, OR DESK, OR ON OUR WEBSITE (INCLUDING THOSE RECOMMENDATIONS AND GUIDELINES SPECIFIED ON THE FAQ PAGE).
    • THE TABLE, ROUND TABLE, COFFEE TABLE, SIDE TABLE, OR DESK MUST HAVE BEEN USED ONLY UNDER TYPICAL CONDITIONS AND MUST NEVER HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO ABUSE, ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, OR OTHER ABNORMAL USAGE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CUTS, TEARS, BURNS, STAINS, SOILING, LIQUID DAMAGE, OR IMPROPER INSTALLATION.

    3. REMEDY

    Floyd’s sole obligation under the Floyd Table System Limited Warranty is to, at our sole option, repair or replace the defective part(s) at no additional charge, if we determine in our sole discretion that the defect is covered by the Floyd Table System Limited Warranty. The repaired or replacement Table, Round Table, Coffee Table, Side Table, or Desk shall continue to be covered under the original Floyd Table System Limited Warranty for the rest of the original term, but under no circumstances will the Floyd Table System Limited Warranty be extended beyond 10 years from the date of purchase of the original Table, Round Table, Coffee Table, Side Table, or Desk.

    4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

    THE REMEDIES PROVIDED IN THIS FLOYD TABLE SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY CONSTITUTE THE PURCHASER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES, AND FLOYD’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION, WITH RESPECT TO DEFECTS IN THE PURCHASED TABLE, ROUND TABLE, COFFEE TABLE, SIDE TABLE, OR DESK PRODUCTS OR THE MANUFACTURING THEREOF. THIS FLOYD TABLE SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY GIVEN BY FLOYD, AND FLOYD EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, AND THE PURCHASER EXPRESSLY WAIVES, ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW. IN SUCH EVENT, SUCH WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE. THIS EXCLUSION APPLIES EVEN IF THIS WARRANTY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSES AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER DAMAGES ARE SOUGHT FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR STRICT LIABILITY IN TORT OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

    5. LIMITATION OF DAMAGES AND LIABILITY

    IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL FLOYD BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THIS FLOYD TABLE SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE FLOYD TABLE/ROUND TABLE/COFFEE TABLE/SIDE TABLE/DESK, AND FLOYD’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THIS FLOYD TABLE SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE FLOYD TABLE/ROUND TABLE/COFFEE TABLE/SIDE TABLE/DESK WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE FLOYD TABLE/ROUND TABLE/COFFEE TABLE/SIDE TABLE/DESK BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER. YOUR USE OF THE FLOYD TABLE/ROUND TABLE, COFFEE TABLE/SIDE TABLE/DESK IS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK. YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR (AND FLOYD DISCLAIMS) ANY AND ALL LOSS, LIABILITY, OR DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE FLOYD TABLE/ROUND TABLE/COFFEE TABLE/SIDE TABLE/DESK.

    6. YOUR RIGHTS AND THE FLOYD TABLE SYSTEM LIMITED WARRANTY

    This Floyd Table System Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. You may also have other legal rights that vary by state, province, or jurisdiction. The terms of this Floyd Table System Limited Warranty will apply to the extent permitted by applicable law. For a full description of your legal rights you should refer to the laws applicable in your jurisdiction and you may wish to contact a relevant consumer advisory service.

  • FLOYD SOFA LIMITED WARRANTY PROMISE

    We design our products to be serviceable — meaning that as a system of parts, our products are designed with the intention of easily changing out a defective part rather than having to replace the entire product.

    As part of our mission of making furniture built to last, Floyd, Inc. (“Floyd”) warrants to the original retail purchaser that our Sofa Fabric, covering the seat cushions and wood seat/back/arm panels will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Floyd, Inc. warrants to the original retail purchaser that our Sofa Frame, inclusive of the steel legs, steel cross bars, and wood seat/back/arm panels will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase. This Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty is a commitment to our customers, an expression of our confidence in the quality of our products, and a statement that we stand behind that quality.

    NOTE: The Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty covers repair or replacement for defective products as set forth herein within the continental United States only, and does not cover regular, non-defective returns of the Sofa or other products. Products that are returned in our 30-day return period are processed differently in accordance with the terms and conditions found here.

    • DAMAGE TO THE FABRIC FROM MACHINE WASHING/DRYING.
    • DAMAGE FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
      • SHARP OBJECTS OR IMPRINTING FROM WRITING INSTRUMENTS;
      • PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO MOISTURE OR DIRECT SUNLIGHT;
      • MODIFICATIONS, ALTERATIONS, TAMPERING, OR IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR REPAIRS;
      • ACTS OF GOD, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FIRE, LIGHTNING, FLOOD, TORNADO, EARTHQUAKE, OR HURRICANE; OR
      • ANY ACTIONS OR USES PERFORMED OUTSIDE OF THOSE RECOMMENDED OR SPECIFIED ON OUR SITE, INCLUDING OUR FAQS.

    IMPORTANT: Customer is responsible for adhering to the cleaning recommendations and precautions in the Sofa FAQ.

    FRAME: The Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty covers and is valid only for flaws and defects in the manufacturing or workmanship of the Sofa Frame. The Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty applies only to the Floyd Sofa, and does not cover or apply to other Floyd products or to any purchases made outside of floydhome.com or outside of the United States. The Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty may not apply to purchases made through third-party sites.

    Floyd does not cover:

      • ACTS OF GOD, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FIRE, LIGHTNING, FLOOD, TORNADO, EARTHQUAKE, OR HURRICANE; OR
      • ANY ACTIONS OR USES PERFORMED OUTSIDE OF THOSE RECOMMENDED OR SPECIFIED ON OUR SITE, INCLUDING OUR FAQS.

    2. ELIGIBILITY

    • YOU MUST BE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND HAVE A VALID PROOF OF PURCHASE. THE FLOYD SOFA LIMITED WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE TO SUBSEQUENT PURCHASERS.
    • YOU MUST HAVE PURCHASED THE SOFA DIRECTLY FROM FLOYDHOME.COM AND BE LOCATED IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, OR HAVE PURCHASED VIA WEST ELM ON OR AFTER JUNE 4, 2019.
    • WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR WRITTEN WARRANTY REQUEST FOR THE FABRIC AS SET FORTH ABOVE WITHIN 3 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
    • WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR WRITTEN WARRANTY REQUEST FOR THE FRAME AS SET FORTH ABOVE WITHIN 10 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
    • THE SOFA MUST HAVE BEEN INSTALLED AND USED ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED WITH THE SOFA OR ON OUR WEBSITE (INCLUDING THOSE RECOMMENDATIONS AND GUIDELINES SPECIFIED ON THE FAQ PAGE).
    • THE SOFA MUST HAVE BEEN USED ONLY UNDER TYPICAL CONDITIONS AND MUST NEVER HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO ABUSE, ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, OR OTHER ABNORMAL USAGE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CUTS, TEARS, BURNS, STAINS, SOILING, LIQUID DAMAGE, OR IMPROPER INSTALLATION.

    3. LIMITED REMEDY

    Floyd’s sole obligation under the Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty is to, at our sole option, repair or replace the defective part(s) at no additional charge, if we determine in our sole discretion that the defect is covered by the Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty. If within the warranty period, identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair or replacement, Floyd reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or better quality. Replacement fabrics may vary in color from the original due to dye lot variations.

    The repaired or replacement Sofa parts shall continue to be covered under the original Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty for the rest of the original term, but under no circumstances will the Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty be extended beyond 3 years from the date of purchase of the original cushions and upholstery; 10 years from the date of purchase of the original frame.

    4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

    THE REMEDIES PROVIDED IN THIS FLOYD SOFA LIMITED WARRANTY CONSTITUTE THE PURCHASER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES, AND FLOYD’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION, WITH RESPECT TO DEFECTS IN THE PURCHASED SOFA PRODUCTS OR THE MANUFACTURING THEREOF. THIS FLOYD SOFA LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY GIVEN BY FLOYD, AND FLOYD EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, AND THE PURCHASER EXPRESSLY WAIVES, ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW. IN SUCH EVENT, SUCH WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE.     IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL FLOYD BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THIS FLOYD SOFA LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE FLOYD SOFA, AND FLOYD’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THIS FLOYD SOFA LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE FLOYD SOFA WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE FLOYD SOFA BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER. YOUR USE OF THE FLOYD SOFA IS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK. YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR (AND FLOYD DISCLAIMS) ANY AND ALL LOSS, LIABILITY, OR DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE FLOYD SOFA.

    This Floyd Sofa Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.   • SHELVING SYSTEM 10-YEAR WARRANTY PROMISE

    We design our products to be serviceable — meaning that as a system of parts, we can easily change out a defective part rather than having to replace the entire product.

    As part of our mission of making furniture built to last, Floyd, Inc. (“Floyd”) warrants to the original retail purchaser that our Shelving System will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase (the “Floyd Shelving System Warranty”). The Floyd Shelving System Warranty is a commitment to our customers, an expression of our confidence in the quality of our products, and a statement that we stand behind that quality.

    The Floyd Shelving System Warranty is offered solely to the original retail purchaser, and is not transferable to subsequent purchasers. Floyd’s sole obligation under the Floyd Shelving System Warranty is to, at our option, repair or replace the defective part(s) at no additional charge, if we determine in our sole discretion that the defect is covered by the Floyd Shelving System Warranty. Floyd must be notified in writing of any claim under the Floyd Shelving System Warranty.

The Floyd Shelving System Warranty applies only to the Floyd Shelving System, and does not cover or apply to other Floyd products beyond the Floyd Shelving System or any purchases made outside of hello@floydhome.com, with the exception of those purchased via West Elm on or after June 4, 2019. The Floyd Shelving System Warranty may not apply, or may apply differently, to purchases made through third-party sites.

    To be eligible for the Floyd Shelving System Warranty:

    • YOU MUST BE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND HAVE A VALID PROOF OF PURCHASE.
    • YOU MUST HAVE PURCHASED THE PRODUCT DIRECTLY FROM FLOYDHOME.COM, OR FROM WEST ELM ON OR AFTER JUNE 4, 2019.

    • THE PRODUCT MUST HAVE BEEN USED ONLY UNDER TYPICAL CONDITIONS AND MUST NEVER HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO ABUSE, ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, OR OTHER ABNORMAL USAGE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CUTS, TEARS, BURNS, STAINS, SOILING, LIQUID DAMAGE, OR IMPROPER INSTALLATION.

    Floyd does not warrant against:

    • CHANGES IN SURFACE FINISHES DUE TO AGING OR EXPOSURE TO LIGHT.
    • NATURAL VARIATIONS OF WOOD GRAIN OR FIGURE OR THE PRESENCE OF CHARACTER MARKS.
    • NATURAL VARIATIONS OF POWDER COATING ON THE SHELVES AND TRACKS.
    • NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.
    • FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY NOTICES AS OUTLINED IN THE SHELVING SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS OR FAQ.
    • DAMAGE FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
    • SHARP OBJECTS OR IMPRINTING FROM WRITING INSTRUMENTS;
    • PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO MOISTURE OR DIRECT SUNLIGHT;
    • MODIFICATIONS, ALTERATIONS, TAMPERING, OR IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR REPAIRS;
    • MOLD OR INVASIVE SPECIES, SUCH AS BED BUGS, TERMITES, ETC.;
    • ACTS OF GOD, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FIRE, LIGHTNING, FLOOD, TORNADO, EARTHQUAKE, OR HURRICANE; OR
    • ANY ACTIONS OR USES PERFORMED OUTSIDE OF THOSE RECOMMENDED OR SPECIFIED ON OUR SITE, INCLUDING OUR FAQ.

    The repaired or replacement item shall continue to be covered under the original warranty for the rest of the original term, but under no circumstances will the Floyd Shelving System Warranty be extended beyond 10 years from the date of purchase of the original product.

    The remedies provided in the Floyd Shelving System Warranty constitute the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedies, and Floyd’s sole and exclusive obligation, with respect to defects in the purchased products or the manufacturing thereof.     • DETERIORATION OF THE MATTRESS THAT RESULTS IN A VISIBLE INDENTATION GREATER THAN ONE (1) INCH THAT IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH AN INDENTATION OR SAG FROM IMPROPER OR UNSUPPORTIVE FOUNDATION OR BASE. NORMAL WEAR REQUIRES THAT A MATTRESS IS CONTINUOUSLY SUPPORTED BY APPROPRIATELY SIZED FOUNDATION OR BASE THAT CAN SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF THE MATTRESS AND ANY OCCUPANTS.
    • ANY PHYSICAL FLAW IN THE FOAM MATERIAL THAT RESULTS IN SPLIT OR CRACKED FOAM DESPITE NORMAL, PROPER USE.
    • ANY MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN THE MATTRESS COVER

    The Floyd Mattress Warranty does not cover:

    • CHANGES IN SURFACE FINISHES DUE TO AGING OR EXPOSURE TO LIGHT.
    • NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.
    • PREFERENCE OVER COMFORT OR FEEL.
    • AN INCREASE SOFTNESS OF THE FOAM DURING NORMAL, PROPER USE.
    • FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY NOTICES AS OUTLINED IN THE MATTRESS INSTRUCTIONS OR FAQ.
    • DAMAGE FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
      • SHARP OBJECTS;
      • PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO MOISTURE, HUMIDITY, OR DIRECT SUNLIGHT;
      • MODIFICATIONS, ALTERATIONS, TAMPERING, OR IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR REPAIRS;
      • COMMERCIAL USE;
      • USING AN IMPROPER OR UNSUPPORTIVE FOUNDATION OR BASE;
      • MOLD OR INVASIVE SPECIES, SUCH AS BED BUGS, TERMITES, ETC.;
      • ACTS OF GOD, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FIRE, LIGHTNING, FLOOD, TORNADO, EARTHQUAKE, OR HURRICANE; OR
      • ANY ACTIONS OR USES PERFORMED OUTSIDE OF THOSE RECOMMENDED OR SPECIFIED ON OUR SITE, INCLUDING OUR FAQ.
