Introducing the Floyd Lift Off Coffee Table. An expandable and adaptable table using the same design system as our Bed Frame and Lift Kit. Crafted with all-natural wood veneer and durable, beautifully finished steel supports. Buy and create a bed later, or vice versa.
This new iteration and use of our classic system, allows for you to create a table from a single panel and grow it over time into an expansive coffee table to hold every last lego piece, cook book, or volume of Sherlock Holmes. It takes everything people love about the Floyd Bed System—its modular design, ease of assembly, and timeless aesthetic—and adapts it for a beautiful, bold coffee table. It was intentionally created for move-ability and a lifetime of use. That’s why we call it Furniture For Keeping.

Are variations in the wood grain and color of my panels normal?
Yes! We use real wood veneer in the construction of all our Floyd products. Wood is a natural material, so it is expected for each panel to have slight color, texture, and grain variations. We’ve developed a color spectrum for all of our wood products, so while your panels may not have come from the same place (and may have a different tone), we know they’ll look great together!
Can I alter my Lift Off Coffee Table to make it taller or change its color?
We do not recommend altering your Lift Off Coffee Table, either aesthetically or structurally. Increasing the overall height of the Lift Off Coffee Table will compromise its structural integrity. Additionally, we do not recommend altering your panels because they are UV sealed with a light clear coat. Cutting, sanding or rounding them will damage them structurally and void our warranty.
Is there anything I shouldn’t put on the Lift Off Coffee Table?
For best protection, use a coaster when placing drinks or hot items on The Lift Off Coffee Table. Be careful when putting potted plants directly on the surface! We recommend placing a drainage tray with a coaster or trivet under any plants. And of course, the Lift Off Coffee Table should only be used as a table, please do not sit on it!
