The Role

We are looking for an outstanding Associate Graphic Designer with a strong sense of design systems to join our fun, hardworking and talented team. You will create engaging and on-brand graphics and sales materials for a variety of digital and physical media from marketing emails and social media posts to brochures, tearsheets, and other sales documents for both Floyd and our partner companies. You’ll help the marketing team execute on the vision across our portfolio of brands, working with our in-house team to push the brands forward and provide necessary creative output. 

The ideal candidate is someone with a strong understanding of brand design who can distill an incoming request and work within the construct of an existing brand to take a concept, idea, or creative brief -- and bring it to life. Candidates should be familiar working within existing design systems to create new, on-brand materials. 

This role is dynamic, exciting, and essential to our continued success. Most importantly, we are looking for a self-starter, a detailed project manager, and collaborator that can work quickly and efficiently under shifting needs and deadlines.

 

Your responsibilities will be primarily the following:

  • Marketing email design and coordination
  • Production for print and digital materials
  • Design and development of advertising materials for Google, Meta, etc.
  • Ensuring brand standard execution across assets
  • Processing & updating assets for the website
  • Preparing production-ready assets for product launches & campaigns

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven graphic design experience
  • Experience working in design software and technologies such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite—especially Adobe InDesign
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work quickly and iteratively to meet fast deadlines 
  • Appreciation and bias for modern, aesthetically-pleasing design
  • Experience working within brand ecosystems is preferred
  • A self-starter willing to own the full life cycle of a project
  • The ability to distill complex information into simplified results
  • Incredible attention to detail and organization
  • Dependable communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies
  • Continuous learning to keep skills and industry knowledge fresh and current
