The Squishy Chair is Floyd's first foray in playful seating. Our fill is made out of foam offcuts from the sofa and mattress production process instead of low-cost, environmentally damaging plastic beads.. A highly durable textile that blends soft fluidity with performance. It's like sitting on a cloud.

Camira Oceanic Fabric Cover

100% post-consumer recycled polyester, including 50% SEAQUAL® YARN. SEAQUAL® processes marine plastic and post-consumer plastic bottles into vibrant, beautifully textured yarn — woven into a twill comprising a light warp and a deeply saturated weft. Removable and washable.

Repurposed Foam Fill

Foam offcuts from the sofa and mattress industry. This is never-been-used scrap that would have ended up in a landfill. Using foam means it never loses its form over time and gives a true sink-in feel. You get that premium, cloud-like sofa feel.

Is The Squishy Chair machine washable?

Yes! The Squishy Chair's outer cover can be machine-washed! Once washed, lay flat or hang to air dry. Please avoid drying The Squishy Chair's outer cover.  

For spot cleaning - wipe with a damp cloth using soap and water. For a deeper clean, professionally dry clean.

Can I purchase a different cover later?
